The Wesleyan Bowling team has had a fantastic year. The team has won two-second place trophies and two-third place trophies. Spares started to kill the momentum in the end-of-season tournaments which led to a rocky finish. During one tournament, a player injured his finger. However, no matter the adversity, the team pushed through the season.
The team has two first-year students ranked in the Top 30 for first-year students in the nation. The TWU bowling team has 5 players ranked Top 50 in the nation, also.
“Briton Helton is a Senior this season and has contributed a lot to the program so it would be great to go out with a bang,” Tyris Nelson, a second-year bowler for TWU, commented briefly.

If well presented, the team can go to the United States Bowling Congress Nationals. Fans wait to see how the heavy hitters perform in the upcoming sectional matches beginning April 17.
